Mermaid finds a knife..
She will be the character of my graphic novel. Now I just try to imagine how she looks like.

As a child I was very interested about mermaids, and now I somehow "found" them again.

Kovin nätiltä näyttää~~~ Kaunis profiili ja siro vartalo~ Kivasti nuo evät ja kaikki merikukkaset olet tehnyt~
Ehkä toi varoitus on omasta mielestäni liikaa. :>

The knife is very reminicent of the original Little Mermaid story :)

Ooh Little Mermaid and knife! I didn't remember that knife when I planned my story, poor me :blushes:
In this story it belongs to the diver.

It's nice if it raises emotions, don't worry : )

Oh yes it's at the end of the story when her sisters bring her the knife and tell her to kill the prince and bathe her legs in his blood to become a mermaid again but she can't because she loves him and insteads jumps into the sea and becomes foam which floats up to the heavens, I've always thought it was such a beautiful yet sad ending

I'd love to see your story though, tales of mermaids always fascinate me :)

I think that H.C. Andersen's ending is much better than Disney's, sad and touching. Although I normally like happy endings..
Aww I have to read the story again.
Do you know any other mermaid stories?
